               ultura is an application that offers
             a unique experience where it is possible
to order and taste coffees from different parts of the world and experience the ceremonial aspect of it. The app will give relevant information about the coffee and record the experience.

Users will gain cultural knowledge just within a few clicks.

Initial Thoughts

Having had the opportunity to taste coffees from many countries worldwide, I would have liked to keep a record of those experiences. Culture is born from the possibility of maintaining that record.

Research

Through interviews and blogs, I found that coffee is becoming much more than just a break for many. Sometimes it is quite an experience. Even those who say they settle for regular coffee can value living a different experience when they have the opportunity. All they need is to know that they have it within few clicks.

Target Users

The app is designed for anyone who likes coffee and whose curiosity leads them, even occasionally, to drink coffee as an experience.  Also, it is for those who want to keep track of the type of coffee tasted.

Julia works in downtown Toronto, and one of the things she likes the most is exploring the city to find cozy corners to have a coffee. She enjoys both when she does it alone and when she is with friends. She loves new experiences, and her curiosity for coffee has led her to write a blog about it.

I have tried to use a visible menu and avoid many searches, so it is possible to order in just a few clicks. Additional information and loyalty card options are available from the main menu also.

Design

The goal was to create a fresh look away from the applications where dark colours prevail in the design. The logo conveys a unique identity, easy to identify, and carries a cultural connotation. Los colours used have the purpose of bringing a bright touch to the application.
